School Development Plan. (SDP)
All schools are required to produce a plan each year. The Senior Management Team, staff and governors discuss areas for development and targets and priorities are agreed. The plan is monitored throughout the year by the governing body. The following is a summary of this years SDP.
To ensure all children make expected or better progress in all aspects of the curriculum especially writing and maths.
To ensure teaching is innovative and inspiring, utilising cross curricular links and ICT effectively.
To develop stronger links within the local and wider community through increased awareness and understanding of community needs locally, nationally and globally.
To embed the Christian distinctiveness of the school in all aspects of school life.
To ensure all learning areas provide effective space and appropriate surroundings for high quality teaching and learning.
Parents are welcome to contact a governor directly or via our email address: email@example.com . Parent Governors are often to be found at the school at the start and end of the school day.
The Governing Body of Marldon Primary School
